This week, David interviewed David Murray-Hundley. David is a successful computer programmer and entrepreneur, and is an advisor, mentor and investor to many early-stage companies. He started programming at the age of 9, and having watched the movie “War Games”, aspired to hack the Pentagon. One of his games was later recognized and released. David was an early student of artificial intelligence and B2B internet solutions and sold an early business to Chase Bank. In 1999, David moved to the US to become one of the founding team at CommerceOne. David’s life has not always been a string of successes, and he has found himself at a low point twice in his life. First, as a teenager, shortly after the sudden passing of his father, he slept rough in bus shelters. Later in his adult life, he declared bankruptcy and had to re-build his life from the beginning. David has worked for 9 companies and has been involved in 47 companies as a founder, mentor, advisor, director or investor. Since the Covid-19 outbreak in 2020, he has helped and advised more than 2,000 companies.
